Here’s one of my favorite quotes by Lao Tzu:

“Do you have the patience to wait until your mud settles, and the water is clear? Can you remain unmoving until the right action arises by itself?”

We often react too quickly to certain events. Instead of reacting quickly, do you have the patience to wait, observe, breathe deeply and not take action until your mud settles?

Meditation gives you the mental fortitude to stop reacting to everything that goes your way.
